The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and will understand the importance of responding quickly to guests’ needs and concerns to ensure an enjoyable experience for all of the Resort’s guests. You’ll be corresponding with guests through email, over the phone and in person. If you’ve worked in the hospitality industry before, we definitely want to talk to you. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

The purpose of the Maintenance Technician II is to maintain the cosmetic appearance and the mechanical function of all the buildings and grounds in both the interior and exterior of the property.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

High School Diploma and/or Trade School Certification (preferred)

1-2 years technical training or equivalent maintenance technician experience Hospitality experience is a plus. Must possess and utilize own tools. Ability to deal with the public and formulate solutions to maintenance problems.This individual must familiarize themselves with Candlestone Golf Resort Operating Procedures in addition to OSHA standards, and Country and state building and operating codes. In addition this position requires basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical equipment and Appliance repair fields (carpentry, painting, flooring, general building Maintenance.

 

This individual must also display the flexibility to deal with ever-changing situations as it pertains to guest, owners, associates and work load. Must have excellent inter-personal skills when dealing with guests, associates, and general public. Must be able to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Must have follow through process on short-term and long-term projects.   • Responsible to maintain proper working relations within the department and with other operating departments on property.
  • Monitor the physical condition of the units and the resort and correct unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records for work orders/preventive maintenance, safety, repair/replace of major equipment, inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Diagnose and perform maintenance/repairs on A/C and heating, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, painting, water and sewer lines, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, gutters, ceiling fans, appliances, pool, amenities, landscaping, install locks and safety devices and other typical resort repairs.
  • Ability to address the concerns and maintenance needs of the guests and associates in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure that all modes of property transportation are operating properly.
  • Complete work orders, preventive maintenance and daily projects reported by engineering management, front desk, or otherwise assigned during the shift.
  • Daily logs must be filed in log book and work orders must be placed on proper hook.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of all guests by providing quick and satisfactory service to owners and guests.
  • Carry out all requests from management necessary to provide 100% customer satisfaction within the associate’s ability.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Cuts grass and trims weeds using hand mower or power driven lawn mower, weed trimmer and brush cutter.
  • Plants grass, trees, shrubs, or flowers according to instructions and planned design of landscaped area, using hand tools.
  • Applies mulch to designated areas.
  • Pulls weeds around bushes, trees and flower beds. Ability to work variable hours.

JOB SUMMARY

The golf cart attendant works closely with the Head Golf Professional, Director of Events, and General Manager on the outside golf operations to assure a smooth transition for patrons and their members around the club. Primary responsibility falls on service to patrons, efficiency of cart loading, cart cleanliness, staging, and storing. This position will also be responsible for working closely with the Resort Event staff to assist with set-up and tear down of events and other duties, as needed.  

 

The Cart Attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. Cart Attendants must be neat and well-groomed in accordance to Candlestone Resort standards.

  • Inspect the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance. Report needed repairs and condition of carts to management.
  • Responsible for cart cleanliness, cart supplies, cart condition and charging. As well as the rotation of golf carts to ensure uniform usage amongst the fleet.
  • Assist golf shop personnel in the tournament setup of golf carts and range operations.

Under the supervision of the Chef, Sous Chef & Cooks, prep/utility cooks are expected to provide efficient, clean, and customer driven service. We are looking for a professional utility prep cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen. Kitchen Utility Prep Cook assists with prepping ingredients, helps to set up workstations; ensuring they are well organized, clean and sanitary. Assists in maintaining the sanitation of the Kitchen; washing, sanitizing and organizing pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchenware, handles trash and recycling as needed.  

Members of the Candlestone Resort service team must hold themselves to the highest standards of personal behavior and adhere to the dining steps of service that are set forth during orientation and training. They are expected to lead by example through their actions and more importantly their behaviors.
